The Bob Charest Duo was formed
to provide a simple setting in which to bring audiences the best
of jazz standards and contemporary music.
A wide variety of music appropriate for dining will be served;
From show tunes like No Greater Love (South Pacific) or People
to standards from the American popular music tradition such as
This Is All I Ask and It Could Happen To You. In addition, some
light classical pieces by Satie, Strauss, and others provide
a change of pace. James Taylor tunes such as You've Got A Friend
and 4th of July are examples of contemporary music we've got
on tap.
The general tone of the music is subdued and "upbeat"
- light with content and a sense of style.
